Nalka portfolio company Asker Healthcare Group has entered into an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in Funktionsverket, a supplier of communication and cognition aids.
Funktionsverket specialises in the development and sales of aids within cognition, communication, and alternative controls. Their customers include schools, assistive technology centres and other public services all over Sweden.
“We are happy to welcome Funktionsverket and their team to Asker. They have built this company with the sole focus of making everyday life easier for children and adults in need of assistance. It is an important mission and in line with Asker’s goal to improve patient outcomes and support caregivers and patients. We are therefore proud that the founders have chosen Asker as a partner in their continued growth,” says Johan Falk, CEO of Asker Healthcare Group.
The acquisition is subject to customary regulatory approvals.
