Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Werder (Havel), Germany, AMW supports critical power infrastructure throughout the asset lifecycle – from planning and engineering to construction, installation, commissioning, modernisation, maintenance and repair.

AMW’s offering covers substations and switchgear, medium-voltage grids and transformer stations, protection and control systems, station automation, planning and documentation, cabinet construction, and manufacturer-independent service. Customers can procure complete solutions for substations and switching stations or select individual modular components from a single provider.

The company serves utilities and industrial customers with technically demanding solutions designed to support system reliability, availability and security of supply. AMW operates from its headquarters in Werder (Havel) and a branch in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe.

The investment in AMW was advised by the Nalka DACH team (Nalka Advisors Germany) and made by the Luxembourg investment fund Nalka DACH Investments SA SICAF-RAIF. The investment is managed by Interogo Fund Management (Luxembourg).
