Nalka portfolio company Asker Healthcare Group has signed an agreement to acquire the Finnish operations within orthopaedic and traumatological implants from SUMMED Finland Oy.

“With the acquisition, we are strengthening our position with surgeons in Finland further and these products will complement Onemed Finland’s current offering well. We are pleased to be joined by SUMMED’s professional team and are looking forward to learning from each other and improve patient outcomes”, says Johan Falk, CEO of Asker Healthcare Group.

The acquisition is an asset deal where the acquired operations contain the distribution of Acumed LLC’s orthopedic and traumatological implants and instrumentation, designed to promote optimal bone healing. The acquired unit will be fully integrated into Onemed Finland.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in December 2024.
